MEDIA INNOVATION ASSOCIATE Miami, Florida  Are you a person who gets jazzed by the design of things? Can you predict the next innovation? Do you love open source software? As Media Innovation Associate, you’ll work with these grantees in a consultative way to help ensure project success. In this role, you’ll also be the project manager who scopes the work, identifies the resource requirements, assesses the risks, establishes the communication channels, reports on status and oversees the project to completion. We need someone who:   • Is an innovative thinker with great interpersonal skills,  • Can design solutions that address complex issues,  • Wants to work with a team of smart, fun and ambitious change agents, • Has knowledge of the media industry from the perspective of consumers, and • Has at least two years of experience in website production or computer application development.    Your key responsibilities in this role are:     • Developing consultative relationships with Knight Foundation grantees. • Supporting grant projects by identifying the right development studio(s) at the right time. • Managing grant projects and overseeing them through successful completion. • Playing a key role on the team as the lead of media innovation grant projects.
